North Auckland branch hosts regional sporting rifle clubs for the final meet of the year.
Competition Format as per National Sporting Rifle Shoot, details below:
NSRS Rim Fire Competition
(45 rounds required)
Prone, 10 shots in 4 minutes
Prone, 5 shots rapid in 20 seconds
Sitting, 10 shots in 4 minutes
Kneeling, 10 shots in 4 minutes
Standing, 10 shots in 4 minutes
All competitors for the sporting rifle interclub competition are invited to the BBQ at 3:00 pm
Note: North Auckland shooters are invited to form a team to participate in this competition

Courses of Fire
The following course of fire for Rimfire rifle metallic silhouette club events are as follows:
- 2 x 5 shots at 40m chicken targets in the offhand position (two and a half minutes for each group of 5 shots).
- 2 x 5 shots at 60m pig targets in the offhand position (two and a half minutes for each group of 5 shots).
- 2 x 5 shots at 77m turkey targets in the offhand position (two and a half minutes for each group of 5 shots).
- 2 x 5 shots at 100m ram targets in the offhand position (two and a half minutes for each group of 5 shots).
